Irrigation Maintenance Farmworker

Location: Stellenbosch

Remuneration will be competitive and negotiable.

The candidate must either be a South African citizen or possess valid legal documentation authorising them to work in South Africa. All references must be contactable. The candidate must have a valid driver’s license and reliable personal transport.

Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team. You will thrive in this role if you are passionate about sustainability, enjoy working as part of a team, and take pride in maintaining irrigation systems and farm gardens.

Inherent Requirements:

Matric would be advantageous

Minimum of 2 years experience in an irrigation role on a farm or estate

Local Stellenbosch candidates preferred

Experience & Skills:

Knowledge of installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems

Ability to communicate effectively to ensure efficient service delivery

Proficient in operating garden tools and equipment

Strong teamwork skills

Main Responsibilities:

Maintain and manage gardens across all farm properties

Ensure the proper use and upkeep of tools and equipment

Support general farm maintenance activities

Adhere to health and safety regulations
