JOB DESCRIPTION – Spa Therapists and Relief Spa Therapists
Remuneration will be competitive and market-related, complemented by a generous commission structure and gratuities.

A prestigious five-star estate in the heart of Stellenbosch is seeking passionate and professional Spa Therapists and Relief Spa Therapists to join our luxury spa team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a serene and sophisticated environment dedicated to world-class wellness and holistic guest experiences.
Employment Type: Full-time (Spa Therapist) / Flexible contract (Relief Spa Therapist)
Minimum Requirements:
Grade 12 / Matric Certificate
2-Year National or International Diploma in Beauty Therapy (CIDESCO, SAAHSP, ITEC preferred)
Certification in body and facial electrical treatments (advantageous)
Minimum 3 years of experience in a professional spa or salon environment
Elemis or TheraVine certification (advantageous or willingness to complete TheraVine Expert course within 1 year of appointment)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Afrikaans
Passion for wellness, exceptional grooming, and strong hygiene standards
Confident, responsible, and customer-service focused
Able to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays
Reliable own transport
Clear credit and criminal record
Non-smoker
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver a variety of spa services: body treatments, massages, facials, waxing, manicures, and pedicures
Provide consistent, professional treatments following spa protocols and certification standards
Maintain treatment rooms, equipment, and product inventory to ensure optimal guest experience and cost control
Educate and advise guests on treatments, products, and wellness solutions tailored to their needs
Handle guest queries and concerns with professionalism and care
Promote spa treatments, services, and retail offerings
Actively participate in team meetings, training sessions, and spa operations
Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, professionalism, and discretion.
