Job description:
- The Assistant Spa Manager is responsible for ensuring a high level of satisfaction for spa customers by completing the following tasks: greeting customers, handling correspondence, answering customer inquiries, escorting guests to treatment areas, promoting spa services, and making sure spa operations run smoothly by assisting the Therapists, Receptionists, and Spa attendants efficiently and timely.
- Supporting the Spa Manager in achieving and exceeding objectives set out by the Operations Manager and General Manager
Roles and responsibilities:
- Maintain a professional presence at the Spa front desk – answering the phone and coordinating treatment appointments politely and professionally.
- Represent the Spa professionally to staff and clients with a professional image and positive presentation.
- Acts as the ambassador of the spa, greeting and welcoming all Guests and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Ensure each visitor is orientated to the standards of spa use and signs necessary documentation.
- Monitors the Spa with thorough walkthroughs regularly throughout the day. This includes all Hydro and Heat Facilities, Pool, Gym, Rasul, Neoqui, Jacuzzi, relaxation, bathrooms, retail and professional stock rooms, and vitality corner.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the spa’s guest-facing areas, including the reception area, treatment rooms, locker rooms and lounge areas, gym, hydro and heat facilities and spa restaurant.
- Ensure equipment and physical facility are in peak condition, including repair.
- Responsible for meeting all Covid related procedures are adhered to by all staff and Guests
- Ensure compliance with hotel policy and procedures
- Ensure all email correspondence is completed timeously.
- Ensure all Admin/Account dept requests are completed timeously.
- Assist Spa Attendants and Therapists with morning setup and closing duties.
